Mar Paulinus Memorial Hospital (MPM Hospital) is a general hospital at Jagdalpur, Bastar District Chhattisgarh, noted for its service to the poor. It was founded in memory of Mar Paulinus Jeerakath the first bishop of Jagdalpur, after his demise, according to his original vision and plans, started on 18th may in1997, in a rented building. On 16th may 1998 the construction of new building started. First phase of the new building was dedicated on 22nd June 1999 by Simon Stock Palathara, C.M.I. It is registered under Chhattisgarh Nursing Home Act Reg. No. TBAST 4924
It is managed by the Catholic Diocese of Jagdalpur. Bastar division is divided into seven revenue districts; it is one of the most backward and under developed parts of the country .The inhabitants here are mainly tribal and depend on agriculture for their livelihood.
